BICKINGTON GREYHOUND STADIUM

The independently run greyhound track in the village of Bickington, on the outskirts of the Devon town of Barnstaple, was situated at Tews Lane at 4° 5' W 51° 4' N and held its inaugural meeting on 6th February 1937. The track was a tight circuit and held sprints over 340 yards and standard races over 400 yards.

The track closed its gates for the final time in 1939 and never reopened after the War.
